Happy July 4th! Is that a deer flag you see waving in my veggie box?
We made this little box last week from some old shelves we tore out months ago. All we did was screw the old shelves together and add our favorite soil mix (1/3 vermiculite, 1/3 peat moss, and 1/3 compost from Square Foot Gardening). We put in 2 watermelon starts, a chard start we made, and a garbanzo bean we sprouted. We also added a bubbler so it would be irrigated.
