Laying Eggs in the Box

The little guy was more than happy to loan the chickens some of his wooden eggs from his toy kitchen. The theory is that if they see eggs in the box, they will know where to put their eggs when the time is right.




And hey! Look there! An egg! In the box!




There was a LOT of bok-bokking from the henhouse earlier that day, so we thought something was going on.





One of the Rhode Island Reds came up as we were removing her egg. At least, maybe it was hers...
