why we returned our trail-a-bike

I didn't explain why we returned our trail-a-bike (here it is with us using it). It felt heavy and wobbly, and accentuated every move of its occupant.  Since it attached to the seat post, the baby seat couldn't sit on the rack at the same time-- which meant we could only take one kid per bike.

  1. I see you have the edgeruner, we are debating on that vs. a double weehoo (to be coming out in mid june 2013). My needs are seating for 4 year old and almost 2 year old. I keep seeing positive reviews for weehoo, curious about your experience as I see you returned it. How do the rides compare? Also, I am 5'4 female- Edgerunner seems a little big, how tall are you? Thanks!

    1. The weehoo felt wobbly and heavy and the Edgerunner feels like a bike. The Edgerunner comes in 3 sizes and I have the middle size (I am 5"7'). The Weehoo has a little storage- enough for a trip to the park but not errands- if you want to consider that as well-- I love the extra space the Edgerunner has. I also like having the kids up close so we can talk. It would be nice, though, for them to learn to pedal and help out.

    2. Thanks for the info. Yeah good point, I really think a designated cargo bike would be more helpful for holding stuff.
