Easy Linen Shirt from Sewing for Boys Book

 Who can resist matching shirts?  
Plus, I had this amazing Hawaiian fabric...
 

  This is the "Easy Linen Shirt" from the Sewing for Boys book in sizes 2/3 and 4/5. It is my second pass at the pattern.  Both are too long in the arms and fit ok in the body. They were easy to make and look sharp.  I actually think I like it a bit more on the older boy- maybe the fit isn't so boxy on him, or maybe I am used to seeing him in clothing like this a bit more.

Still- I think they are ADORABLE!  And I love that I can now make shirts!  I had always been so intimidated before.
